Sumeet is a management professional turned first-generation entrepreneur with rich experience in Management Consulting & Private Equity. He has worked with MNCs in India and abroad before venturing into entrepreneurship.

Private Equity & Consulting Experience

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Sumeet was engaged with Halcyon Group, a prominent Mumbai-based $300 million Private Equity fund. The firm specialized in investing in companies facing special situations and distress, providing management interventions to improve their performance.

Entrepreneurial Journey

In his entrepreneurial journey, Sumeet has co-founded several ventures in the fields of Internet Technology & Digital Media in India.

One of his notable ventures includes ClickZoot Network, one of India's largest digital performance advertising networks. This venture was later acquired by Fork Media Group, one of India's largest digital native advertising companies.

Role at Fork Media

Following the acquisition, Sumeet led Fork Media as the Group CFO, where he:

• Spearheaded several acquisitions
• Established new business lines
• Set up the Group’s first international outpost in Dubai

Current Role: Mediapolis Ventures & Elaan Training

Sumeet is currently the Managing Director of Mediapolis Ventures, a private Media, Entertainment & Technology Incubation entity. Mediapolis:

• Operates and invests in emerging Media & Technology startups in India
• Is an investor in Elaan Training Private Limited

Jupiter Capital Advisory

In addition to his ventures, Sumeet is also a Managing Partner at Jupiter Capital Advisory, which provides:

• Boutique investment banking advisory to mid-sized and large corporations in India
• Consulting & advisory services to a few large Single Family Offices
